Born in Denmark, Ulrik decided after ending his education that horses were going to be his life. With a passion for both dressage and eventing, England seemed the perfect place.

His background in dressage includes being on the Danish young rider dressage team and in eventing he was crowned the Danish champion in 1992. 

Ulrik has successfully trained dressage horses up to international small tour level and has also had great results in young horse classes, winning both Rhinegold and Shearwater 5 year old championship in 2006.

Ulrik was trained by a number of much respected trainers in Denmark including Danish Olympic rider Jon D Petersen.
