Henriette started competing “Layla” an 18 hh mare in March this year and explains;

 

“I don’t normally ride mares; I have had too many bad experiences with bad tempered ones.

However Layla came along and that perception changed; Layla is a very genuine mare and you wouldn’t know she is a mare but she did of cause come into season and the way I felt that was a quite tight back which did affect her work.
